BSE – Special Dry White 2022: a fresh and dry wine for all occasions

30/05/2023

BSE – Special Dry White, produced by José Maria da Fonseca, is a fresh and dry wine suitable for all occasions. The 2022 harvest of this regional wine from the Setúbal Peninsula is already available on the market, being ideal for lighter meals, fish dishes, salads, seafood or as an aperitif.

Produced since 1947, BSE – Branco Seco Especial combines two Portuguese grape varieties – Antão Vaz and Arinto. While the first variety gives this wine an aromatic exuberance, with exotic notes of pineapple and green apple, the second variety gives it a lively and refreshing acidity. With fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 16ºC, this wine has a citrus yellow color. It should be served at a temperature of 8ºC and be enjoyed while young.
