Miguel Leal’s connection to the world of wine dates back to his childhood, in a small family wine estate managed by his grandfather and father in the north of Portugal, in the Vinho Verde region, where he helped with the harvest, bottled and labeled wines.

After graduating from the University of Porto with a degree in international relations, Miguel started his career working in family businesses for many years. In 2011, the appeal of wine went in another direction, through his own company, ML-Private Tours.
